I am being abused by my ex husband, both mentally and physically and nobody is doing anything to help me - not even to have him removed from my property!!!!! The courtorder is been issued but its been a week now and still its not been delivered to him!!!!! Everybodies excuse is: phone the police when he acts against the courtorder - yet NO Courtorder and what if it is too late???????? How will I phone then??????? He refuses to leave my property and claim to leave whenever he wants to leave! He is jobless, have no transport and I have been supporting him - I've been trying to save my marraige - this for 4 times since I did not want to give up and because I love(d) him. But he has taken away my dignity, my womaness, my personality, my zess for life, but he will now not take my soul! I've already tried to commit suicide unseccesfully twice because of him and his kids - they swear and laugh together when they belittle me. He drinks basically the whole day or fish.
Like his son laughing while his father handled me roughly friday a week ago - so much so, that when I called the police, i was told the only thing I could do was the get the restraining order (the one I am still waiting for!) They did not even take a report and now he is using it by saying even the policy is laughing at me - he is an excellent manipulator and I sometimes has a double personality.

RAISING AWARENESS ABOUT SEXUAL ABUSE
THE REDEMPTION OF INNOCENCE:
THERAPISTS SYMPOSIUM: RECOVERY FROM SEXUAL ABUSE
Monday December 10th 7:00 at Persephone Institute
25 Riverside Terrace, Hout Bay
A CALL FOR PRESENTERS & PARTICIPANTS BOOKING
The Deep Empowerment Collective has been formed to represent and advocate the right of South Africans to choose from a wide range of established as well as emerging modalities, approaches and philosophies of counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, personal healing, growth and transformation. It opposes the restrictive legal framework embedded in the 1974 Health Professions Act which reserves the entire field of human development for registered psychologists only.
The Deep Empowerment Collective advocates diversity of approaches to human development and healing. It wishes to open up a dialogue between various modalities of human development and healing, and to share with the public the breadth and depth of expertise regarding effective healing approaches that are not currently included in the training of psychologists. It wishes to act as a public and professional educational and consciousness raiser for the public and to professionals, as well as to lobby government for the desired change.
We acknowledges the need for protecting the public against unskilled and unscrupulous operators, but we wish to demonstrate that safe, accountable and ethical modalities exist outside of psychology that maintains conscious ethical standards.
