How to start your own club

Clubs

The Girls’Net Clubs provide the opportunity for girls to meet in their own provinces. This section gives you information about the different clubs, what they get up to when they meet, what they are planning, and also how you can start your own club and become part of the GirlsNet project. You can also find out how you can join an existing club or contact a club near you.

The Girls’Net Clubs meet in venues we call access points. Access points are safe, youth and girl friendly places at which girls hold their meetings and have access to computers and the internet. Access points are most often facilities or places situated at government facilities or non-governmental organisations. The access points are important because they will allow you to stay in touch with us by engaging with the Girls’Net project. You will also be able to develop information for the Girls’Net site and upload this to the site yourself. In other words you will be able to update the Girls’Net site (your site) from your province!

Remember Club members, for this section to be interesting we need you to tell us what you are up to, what you are planning and also to update the site using the skills we have taught you.
