History

The South African National AIDS Council (SANAC) undertook a process to re-structuring and examining the Strategic Plan for 2007-2011. Various sector meetings took place and organisations made inputs and submissions into the plan. However, in recognition of the difficulties that SANAC sectors experienced in consulting on the National Strategic Plan (NSP) the Department of Health funded sector summits, to allow each sector to discuss the NSP and to make recommendations.
