Tebogo
Matoane, has a diverse background
that includes human rights and gender activism.
She is a graduate of the University of the
North, Wits and RAU respectively. She has
a Masters Degree in Education and Honours
in Human Rights Education. Having worked with
both Human rights and gender in education
and violence against women sector, she possesses
an experience as trainer, educator and information
manager, and holds a number of certificates
in gender and human rights.

Naomi
Palesa Webster, is a gender activist.
Her expertise lies in gender, human rights
and violence against women. Her education
background is in law, industrial relations,
and human rights. She is currently completing
a Masters degree in human rights. Her involvement
in socio-developmental issues including participating
in Ha Bo Rona (a media and artistic space
for young black women) and other community
based organizations. She has published research
and articles (nationally and internationally)
on gender and human rights. Her expertise
is in research, training and advocacy on a
variety of issues; violence against women,
sexual orientation, gender mainstreaming,
and democracy education.

Naomi Webster
Sarita
Ranchod, is a gender, communications
and development practitioner. She has extensive
experience of working on gender, ICT and media
issues at local, national, regional and international
level. She has worked as the Project Manager
of Women'sNet, and within the United Nations
system on gender and communications issues.
She is an active member of the Association
for Progressive Communication Women's Networking
Support Programme. She has experience of using
feminist research methodology and gender analysis
tools, and is currently involved in a global
initiative to develop a gender audit methodology
for planning and evaluating ICT policy and
projects. She has a Master's degree in Gender
and Development from the Institute of Development
Studies, University of Sussex, and a BA in
Journalism and Media Studies and Politics
from Rhodes University.
