Welcome to the Women & Election '99 Web Site!

The objective of Women'sNet's Election project is to provide Women'sNet's users with an accessible and interactive online resource about women and the 1999 elections. We hope this resource will assist women - in civil society and in elected office - actively and strategically participate in the 1999 elections as well as impact on the work of the second democratically elected Parliament in South Africa.
