Community Media Trust: Online Editor
The Community Media Trust seeks to appoint an Online Video Editor, based in Muizenberg, Cape Town, to work on a HIV Educational Television show.
The Community Media Trust (CMT) is a not for profit company registered in terms of Section 21 of the Companies Act and the Non-Profit Organisations Act. CMT has produced HIV/AIDS public health education material since 1998 under the Siyayinqoba Beat It! brand. UNAIDS has twice cited CMT as an example of best practice.
The Community Media Trust seeks to appoint an Online Video Editor, to work on a HIV Educational Television show.
Requirements:
- Experience with Edius NLE an in online editing and mastering for broadcast;
- Ability to work long hours and full-time availability;
- Previous video editing experience;
- Ability to work unsupervised;
- Basic knowledge of HIV preferable but not a necessity;
- isiXhosa or seSotho languages preferable, but not a necessity.
This is a probation contract for the first three months, with a further three-month contract issued after successful probation period.
Starting date: Immediately.
