womensnet logo Research: Information Required on Initiatives to Improve Criminal Justice System in relation to Violence Against Women in Gauteng
(Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation, 9/12/98)

The Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation is conducting preliminary research for Business Against Crime's (Gauteng) Anti-Crime Technology Task Force.

The aim of the research project is to list all initiatives which are currently under way in Gauteng to improve the criminal justice system in relation to cases of violence against women and children.

If you know of any initiatives in relation to police, courts, prisons and probation, which aim to improve services to women who have been victims of violence, please send details to me at the address below or e-mail to hopkinsp@iafrica.com

Thanks
